Notifications

Configure and manage WoPora notifications --- in-app alerts and email summaries for key workforce events.

Notifications

WoPora sends notifications to keep managers and staff informed about important workforce events. Navigate to Dashboard -> Notifications to view your notification inbox, or Settings -> Notifications to configure preferences.

Notification Types

For Managers & Admins

For Staff

Viewing Notifications

The bell icon in the top navigation bar shows a badge with the count of unread notifications. Click it to open the notification panel.

  • Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant record
  • Click Mark all as read to clear the badge

The full notification history is at Dashboard -> Notifications.

Notification Preferences

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Notifications -> Preferences (or profile avatar -> Notification Settings)
  2. For each notification type, choose: In-app, Email, Both, or Off
  3. Save

Email Notifications

Emails include a summary of the event and a direct link to take action in WoPora.

Daily Digest

Instead of individual emails per event, choose a daily digest that batches all notifications into one email:

  1. Go to Notification Preferences
  2. Set your email preference to Daily Digest
  3. Choose the delivery time (default: 7:00 AM your time zone)

Organisation Notification Settings

Admins can configure notification behaviour for the whole organisation under Settings -> Notifications:

  • Enable/disable specific notification types for all users
  • Set default delivery channels
  • Configure shift reminder lead times (e.g., 24h before, 2h before)
  • Set compliance alert thresholds
