Use WoPora Analytics to track labour costs, hours worked, and workforce performance across your organisation.

Analytics & Reports

The Analytics module gives managers and administrators visibility into labour cost, hours worked, roster efficiency, and compliance trends. Navigate to Dashboard -> Analytics to access it.

Labour Cost Analysis

The Labour Cost report shows how much your organisation has spent on wages across any selected time period.

Opening the Labour Cost Report

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Analytics -> Labour Cost
  2. Set the date range using the date picker (supports custom ranges)
  3. Optionally filter by Location, Team, or Employee
  4. Click Apply to refresh the chart and summary table

Reading the Chart

  • The bar chart shows total labour cost per day or per week, depending on your date range
  • Hovering over a bar shows the exact cost and breakdown by employee type (full-time, part-time, casual)
  • The summary cards at the top show: Total Cost, Regular Hours Cost, Overtime Cost, and Leave Cost

Exporting Labour Cost Data

Click Export CSV to download a line-by-line breakdown of all labour cost items within the selected period. The export includes:

  • Employee name and ID
  • Classification and award rate
  • Hours worked (regular, overtime, public holiday)
  • Total cost per row

Timesheet Reports

The Timesheet Report provides a summary of hours entered and approved across the organisation.

Columns in the Report

Roster Efficiency

The Roster Efficiency report compares planned (scheduled) hours against actual (worked) hours.

  • Under-staffed shifts --- scheduled but no one clocked in
  • Over-time shifts --- worked hours significantly exceed scheduled hours
  • Unfilled shifts --- shifts published but no employee assigned

This report helps identify patterns of chronic understaffing or scheduling gaps.

Compliance Report

The Compliance Report aggregates all compliance events detected by the system:

  • Award rule violations (e.g., insufficient break time)
  • Missed clock-out events
  • Unapproved overtime
  • Roster coverage below minimum thresholds

Each event links directly to the relevant timesheet or roster record so you can investigate and resolve it.

Downloading a Compliance Report

  1. Select the date range
  2. Click Generate Report
  3. Download as PDF or CSV for audit purposes

Activity Summary

The Activity Summary shows a high-level breakdown of all employee actions in a period:

  • Clock events (in/out, breaks)
  • Timesheet submissions and approvals
  • Leave requests and approvals
  • Roster changes

Useful for HR reviews and performance conversations.
